How to Choose the Best Website Design Company in Andhra Pradesh
Searching for "best website design company in Andhra Pradesh" returns dozens of results — most of them agencies from Delhi, Mumbai, or Bangalore with a city page that says "Andhra Pradesh" inserted into a template. Here is how to tell the difference between a real AP-based studio and a template agency, and what to look for before you pay.
1. Check if they are actually based in AP
Open their "About" or "Contact" page. Is there a real Andhra Pradesh address? A local phone number? A Google Business Profile showing a verified AP location? If the agency claims to serve AP but their address is in Noida or Jaipur, they are running a city-swap operation — the same template page replicated for every state in India.
Why it matters: An agency based in AP understands your buyer behaviour, your local market, and the search patterns your clients use. A distant agency cannot replicate that context.
2. Ask if they do SEO structure or just design
Most web design agencies in India deliver a visual design and leave. They do not fix your page titles, create service pages, add schema markup, or set up your Google Business Profile. If your agency only delivers design, your website will look good but rank for nothing.
Ask specifically: "Will you rewrite my page titles with city and service keywords? Will you add LocalBusiness schema? Will you submit my sitemap to Google Search Console?" If they look confused, they are a design agency, not an SEO-first studio.
3. Check their own website's SEO
The simplest test: search Google for "website design company [their city]". Do they rank? If a web design agency cannot rank their own website for their own city, they are unlikely to rank yours. Check their page titles, schema, and page structure. If their own site is poorly optimised, that is what they will deliver to you.
4. Look for real portfolio, not stock photos
A legitimate agency shows real client websites with names, links, and descriptions. If their portfolio is stock mockups on laptop screens or generic screenshots with no client names — they are either new or not confident in their work.
5. Ask about their process — not their price first
A good studio has a clear process: audit, plan, build, launch. They should be able to explain what happens at each stage before you ask about price. If the first thing they talk about is packages and pricing without understanding your business, your goals, or your current website — they will deliver a generic product.
6. Avoid these red flags
- "We will build your website in 3 days" — a properly structured website takes 2–4 weeks minimum
- "We guarantee #1 on Google" — no one can guarantee rankings. Google decides.
- "₹5,000 for a complete website" — at that price, you will get a template with your name swapped in
- No Google Business Profile of their own — if they do not practice what they preach, they cannot deliver it
- No case studies or named clients — they should be able to show at least 3 real projects
