The Client & Context
Stillness Co. is a wellness sanctuary offering floating sound baths, breathwork, journaling, vocal yoga, and mindfulness practices in the Greater Vancouver area. As Canada's first floating float bath provider, they curate luxury, presence-driven experiences for small, intimate groups.
They offer wellness retreats, floating waitlist signups, memberships, and a physical products shop (affirmation cards, journals, astrology reports).
The Challenge
The client's previous website suffered from heavy cognitive overload. In their own words:
"The current design is very boxed in, the flow is not clear, there are too many things, and too much information. It feels confusing to a user."
With 95% of high-value wellness clients browsing on mobile devices, their boxed layout broke on smaller screens, cart systems added excessive friction, and event registrations were split across multiple disconnected services.
The Problem Diagnosis
Our audit revealed critical structural leaks that prevented traffic from booking retreats or buying products:
