The Showcase Concept
Protik Das is a cinematic video editor who requested a high-end portfolio page. This project was developed as a custom design partnership model. During development, the client paused the scope. To preserve our custom engineering work, we migrated the code into a standalone portfolio showcase on `protik.solicate.in`.
This page stands as an active demonstration of our dark mode design capability, incorporating cinematic background animations and bold layout structures.
The Challenge & Solution
Cinematic video work demands a website that feels like a theater. Traditional templates with white backgrounds distract from video editing details. The challenge was building an immersive dark theme that loaded instantly on mobile devices without crashing or lagging.
We solved this by writing vanilla HTML and CSS, wrapping the background video in lightweight loops, and stripping away bloated JavaScript libraries to keep the focus entirely on the video work.
